Drilling Mud Cleaner--The 2nd and 3rd Stage Solids Control Equipment

Structure:

Mud cleaner is made of three parts of shale shaker and desilter and desander,which can remove silt and biggest solids in drilling mud.The top of shale shaker is desilter and desander which are assembled in the slurry collecting tray,the tray has two outlets,one down to the shale shaker for recycling slurry,waste from another outlet was discharged directly to the trash place,one is closed when another in use.

The different specification cyclones of desilter and desander were assembled by different way,the sixteen cyclones(φ100mm/4inch)are centered around the place of mud distribution and looks like circle structure,all the layout is compact and effectively using the top place of shale shaker.Each cyclone deal with the mud under the range of working pressure,each cone is easy to adjust and maintain due to it is controlled with a 2inch ball valve .The inlet of desilter is on the top of equipment . The orientation of inlet is available by adjusting the elbow’s installation,the outlets are in two sides of equipment,you can choose one when in use and plug up the other one with blind flange .Desander is consisted of cyclone and inlet/outlet liquids tube,the cyclone was made of top shell,upper cone and down cone which are connected by flanges and clamps ,the bottom of cyclone is outlet for sand,the overflow hole and inlet/outlet tube are interlinked by clamps,underflow hole is adjustable according to the sand content,you can twist/off the cap to adjust the underflow hole.Liquids inlet in the two sides of desander,you can plug up one with blind flange when you use the other one

Working Theory:

In the working pressure,desilter and desander can generate centrifugal force when the drilling liquids is moved from inlet liquid tube into the inwall of cyclone tangentially and then downward high-speed rotation .Light drilling fluids upward to the circulating tank from the overflow mouth .The heavier solids is throwed to the wall of cyclone by centrifugal force and fallen by the weight of itself then discharged from underflow hole to shaker screen,so the liquid and solid will be separated to reach the drilling fluid purification.

Function:

To remove the 20~120μm solids in drilling fluids and save the drilling fluids.Build a good environment for decanting centrifuge to reclean damage solids in drilling fluids.It can control the solids content of drilling fluids to improve the drilling speed and protect the oil&gas layer,especially to remove the silt and sand during the period of deep drilling.
